Purpose:

To outline retirement options and eligibility for university faculty and staff.

Policy Statement:

University faculty and staff members may retire on or after age 55 following ten or more years of non-temporary, active service. Additional information about regular retirement is located on the Human Resource Services web site. 

In accordance with board policy 2.1.2.H.i. faculty and staff members may apply for the Phased Retirement Program on or after age 57 following 15 or more years of non-temporary, active service. The phased retirement program is subject to annual review by the Board of Regents Additional information about phased retirement is located on the Human Resource Services web site.
